Actually DA is calculated according to the company policy. Basically the company has to give 100% gross salary so that some company adopts basic as a 60% DA as a 20% and other allowances as a 20%. and some companies provide basic as a 50% DA as a 25% and other allowances as a 25%. but first of all you have to confirm about your company policy. after that you can think about it.

But in India company policies is not supreme, here have a DA principles. If any one asking about the calculation of DA, either you give suitable explanation to calculate otherwise shut your bloody innocence...
