Contract Labour & Housekeeping

Dear All,

Thanks for all your previous replies.

I wanted to ask DOES HOUSEKEEPING COMES UNDER CONTRACT LABOUR . I mean if someone has to do HOUSEKEEPING BUSINESS (i.e, Deploy people to perform housekeeping duities on contract) does he has to take out CONTRACT LABOUR. I think it is Just clarifying.

Secondly, Is it required to take contract labour license in the premises that he undertaking business or just one Contract Labour License will do.

Ans: Yes, House kepping comes under CLR act

Secondly, Is it required to take contract labour license in the premises that he undertaking business or just one Contract Labour License will do.

Ans: According to me, it is requierd to take CL License.

Dear Harish
as far as my knoeledge:
Firstly you have take licence for Contract Labour ie Form No.IV
under rule 21 of CLA,1970.
Secodly you have get Form V ie Certificate by Principal Employer
where you want to work. it is type of declaration by Principal
Employer as to appointment of Contractor.

hi

for the business it is essential to have the contract labour license

this is to inform u that, if the no. of contract labour is more than the 20 then it is essential to take the labour license under the CL, Act

also the housekeeping comes under the contract labour act
