Pls help me we are newly started to Night Shift in our establishments kindly let us know soon as possible
1. Any registrations required to conduct night shift at Shop & Establishment premises?
2. Compliance to be followed for engaging employee’s in night Shits?
3. Any extra allowance to be paid for engaging employee in night shift?
4. What is the OT rate for night shift?
5. What type of transportation facility to be provided?
6. Can we engage female employee in night shift?
7. What are the compulsory requirements to fulfilled to engage female employee in night shift?
8. What are the statutory requirements to be followed if, employee work for weekend’s ?
9. Is female security guard is mandatory ,if we engage female employees in night shift?

My answer for your Query is
1. There is need for getting special registration for engaging employees at night shift however you have to inform the appropriate authority about how many women employee you going to engage in night shift.
2. Some of them are
A. Provide Security
B. Safe transportation facility
C. Employees should know whom they should contact in case of any emergency (Including local police station no)
D. Appoint sexual harassment committee...etc
3. Generally every organization paying night shift allowance in order to motivate employee working in night shift.
4. The OT is same double the wages.
5. I didn't no what type, but what ever you provide the women employee should be safe and secure.
