Respected sir i want to apply for the epf & esic code number but i do not have any employee. i need the epf & esic code number to apply with a tender for the supply of manpower for housekeeping. if i get the tender then i will start the recruitment and make the necessary payment to esic & epf. this will take a time of at least six months. so my question is can i take the esic & epf number in advance and pay later on?

Exclusion of employee from epf
Dear seniors one employee has joined our company and his basic plus da is exceed the 15000 however he is also not perviously member of epf yet. but he is demanding to be member of epf restricting contribution on 15000/ also our management doesn t want him to be member of my query is...since his basic is exceed the ceiling limit can we reject his demand and let him not to be the member of epf. or as per epf norms we are bound to provide him epf benefit inspite having his basic plus da exceed 15k if employee demand? please clarify regds aman sharma

Esic - contractor epf & esic non remittance to labour liability?
Hello everyone i am working with a government organization where we hire a contractor who provide us all kinds of labour for technical work. after two years we came to know that he is not remitting labor s epf & esic in their respective accounts. after that we have taken action against him for epf non remittance. but my query for esic are 1. whether he is liable to remit both employee & employer part in their account? 2. if he has not remitted required amount than what step we should take?
