Termination of employment and notice period
Dear sir/madam i was working as manager in an mnc in chennai. as per my offer letter notice period stipulation is as follows. you shall give the organisation atleast two month s notice of your intention to resign. the organisation reserves the right to accept your resignation with immediate effect at any time during the notice period. the organisation shall be entitled to terminate your employment at any time on giving one month s notice or without any notice on payment of one month s salary in lieu of notice. despite this the ceo terminated my services without any giving me 1 month notice or 1 month salary in lieu of notice. in such situation am i eligible for 1 month salary in lieu of notice. kindly guide me what measures are available to me. best regards vinay
Marriage while in notice period - can i take leave?
Hi hr team i work in one software company.presently i am serving my notice periodbut in the notice period time is my marriage.can i take leave and serve the remaining notice period because i don t want to extend my notice period above 2 months which i am already serving.is there any chance my manager ask me to server beyond 2 months notice.if yes how to overcome this situation.i resigned from my services on 23 july with 2 months of notice period which will end on sep 24.please advice me on this one.
Notice period buyout in it services company - hr is telling me there is no buyout option
I work for a big services it company in bangalore which has 3 months notice period. i have resigned two weeks back and want to buy notice for two months. the hr is telling me there is no buyout option and i have to serve entire 3 months notice period. here s the paragraph from the agreement: " your employment with the company shall be terminable without reasons by either party giving onemonth notice during probationary period and three months notice on confirmation. the company reserves the right to pay or recover salary in lieu of notice period. further the company may at its discretion relieve you from such date as it may deem fit even prior to the expiry of the notice period. however if the company desires you to continue the employment during the notice period you shall do so. notice period and termination of employment contract shall be governed by the applicable internal policies of the company as updated from time to time." can they me to work for entire 3 months on notice when i want to buy notice for 2 months and serve one month. please help
Notice period
Hi i joined a company and at that time the notice period was 1 month. now recently the company announced that they have increased the notice period to 3 months. i want resign now and want to understand what will be the applicable notice period for me as i have signed on a contract where 1 month notice period is mentioned. please let me know how to deal with this situation thanks
Notice period issue
I have resigned from a known private life insurance co. and the issue was regarding my notice period. full n final settlement done and i found my pl s not encashed and taken against short notice period. i had given 1 month notice period as mentioned in my appointment letter. my signed appointment letter which states 1 month and then there was a change in policy which changed to notice period to 3 monthsintimated thru email. i have not signed any letter which mentions this 3 months notice period. so in a sense i have not agreed to the new notice period. but the appointment letter states that employee needs to abide to company policies as amended from time to time. i believe such policy applies to work timings dress code etc.. and not to notice period where it needs to be mutually agreed upon not sure if i am right or wrong. does that means i have to give 3 months np or i have rights to fight with hr and get the encashment of my pls

Seniors i have been stuck with my resignation and joining in a new company from last 2 months initially i was skeptical about my resigning as i had 2 months notice period and i had to resign and join some other company in 15 days time so i took time gave interview and got selected . i resigned from my present company and asked them to release me in a month time which was ok with my manager as our project was over.tomorrow happens to be my last day in this company and since i am not serving 2 months notice period my co is deducting my 1 month salary from full n final settlement which as per norms should be only 1 month basic salary and they are informing me about this today.other co i am joining on monday is still undecided about buying my notice period .please advice me what should i do now
