Staffing V/S internal recruitment

Hi,

Does it make any difference if you work with the staff augmentation team of a company as compared to the internal staffing team of a firm? For eg., lot of IT firms have their own development center and they also do staffing for their clients. In this case, does it make any difference for someone who works as a senior recruiter and handles both the requirements?

Hi Deep

I was working as a manager Hr for a IT firm which was into development and Hiring for clients. for such job as a HR manager, you require to have differnet face. over to that, there will be lots of problems from both the side. The most important thing of such a job is to keep lots of secrets.

To be frank, I enjoyed the job and it gave me lots of experience.

I agree with your view! What I am curious to know is whether once you work in this mode i.e., hire for internal needs of your own software development team and also for the sfatting needs of your client......Would you stand on the same level as a senior recruiter who works with say for eg., Oracle purely in the internal staffing team?

Oh! I apologize for the same. I really did not mean it in that way. I just wanted to emphasize my point and was hoping that my seniors over here do help me out. Thanks for pointing it out.
