Hi, HR Managers need to provide information and awareness about PF and ESIC, to workers/employees. Management is reluctant on this But me to focus on the cost cutting. What is the way out?

Hi Buddy,
I could say yes, Its one of the responsibility of HR mangers to make workers to know about the benefits & features of ESI & PF etc (How worker will get sickness benefits & what are the kind of withdraws available under PF).

Buddy, As a HR like us, we want to make sure that there is no any compromise on welfare (statutory) areas.
Do cost cutting at areas where it fit without deteriorating the morale of employees.
Thumbs Up Buddy.

Thanks you Kumaran Sir,
Appreciate Your stand on statutory compliance.I also look forward that workers /employees be made aware of such good welfare facilities and encourage to reap max benefit out of it.It can also be helpful in retaining employees if the principal employers are religiously contributing to such statutes.
Thanks again for sharing.

PF and ESIC is not by our choice and need to be given as per the law. When your strength crosses more than 20 you are under legal compulsion to provide those benefits.Failure to do this will attract penalty as per the provision of PF and ESIC act.Make management to understand on this issue.Cost cutting you can do on the other variable expenditure and not on the welfare activities.Be ethical if not 100% atleast to the maximum limit possible in dealing with labour matters.Intead of saving you may have to spent lot of money and time in solving the legal complication..
