About Salaries & Growth oppotunities.

Hi,
I am a First yr M.B.A. student from pune,i am planning to do specialisation in H.R.,but iam getting feedback from people that h.R. field has limited opportunities & salaries are also less.I want to know hw much truth is there........let me know wht r the growth oppotunities in HR.
I am Being Computr engg....Will it be good for me to join i.t. Comp after my M.B.A. Hr-----Plz answer my quetion....

Hi

Yes, Salary is not as much, if you compare it with Software engg. But HR field has been emerged as one of the best profession in which you can maintain a balance between your professional & personnal life.

I think the senior people can throw some more light on this topic.

There are various dept & division in HR & having a very wide scope.
