Dear Friends,
Need some clarifications regarding form 19 and 10C for P.F settlement purpose.
1) If we are taking print out of these forms, is there any compulsion to take back to back print out i.e Both sides of a sheet. I read somewhere that it is mandatory to take like that. So can somebody confirm on this.
2) How to cancel a cheque ? Whether we can simply cross the cheque and write as "Cancelled" ? or need to to do anything else.
3) Whether we need to sign the Cheque before cancelling it?
It will be much helpful if someone can answer my queries.
Thanks in Advance

Cancellation of cheque Just draw two lines in parallel on the face of the cheque and write cancelled in between the lines. No need to sign a cancelled cheque.

You can take print out either back to back or on different sheets. there is no such compulsion.
You need not sign on the cheque, just draw two parallel lines and in between mention as cancelled.
PF department will ask for a cancelled cheque to make sure the fund reaches the correct account. In the cheque it will have all the necessary information like IFSC code, account no etc, this will help in transferring the fund online.
