Post Graduation in HR Management
Dear sir,

I am commerce graduate with 4.5 years or exp. In HR & Admin. I did my diploma in labour studies from Mumbai university ( 1 Yr. Part time), presently i am doing pgdhrm from symbiosis institute of distance learning.

Is it necessary for me to do either full time or part time MBA? OR my current education will help me to survive in HR profession.

Shailesh,
If you are doing pgdhrm from symbiosis institute of distance learning, Its equivalent to MBA so i don't think you need another MBA degree. Surviving in the profession needs working experience and you have the PGDHRM , so its sufficient I think.

i am doing pgdhrm from symbiosis too..till now what i know is experience n knowledge comes first,then comes degree's.luckily you have experience....

it would be sane to do a full time mba there is a limit to what u can learn tru par time mba coz u do not come from a specialized graduation i.e industry specific see to make it simple if u had done ur graduation in designing and then done ur par time diploma in hr ,no worries a design firm would prefer to have u in a good position , but u being a generalist in ur graduation need to be a specialist in hr so take my advise and do it full time an average college with AICTE Approval will also do the trick , but plan it financially too coz a major reason for grads not opting for a full time mba (tru a private institute) is money . so all the best buddy
