Hi all as all of us aware that smartphone is the future for communication. many companies are in the smartphone market and succeeding only on smartphone selling. smartphone needs an operating system like android ios symbian etc to run applications and to make a mobile phone a smartphone. can we use this technology in hr functions? is anybody already using it for hr activities? please share your experience or let us start discussing how we can put smartphone is use for smart hr performance? thanks manish

Harassment against female employees on whatsapp
Dear members our company is a small company and has 3 branches across india its a partnership firm with 3 directors. i started a whatsapp group and added all employees for casual interaction ideas exchange and quick connect so whoever is on whatsapp is part of this group. there is one very senior employee who is in another branch in different location in this group who is part of the company since its inception his contribution towards this company is very big. but on the whatsapp group he posts useless long posts and twice he even posted cheap and vulgar pictures of female. being the group admin i had warned him but 2 days back he posted a very vulgar pic and when i confronted him he said its just a joke and i should not take it personally coz if i do then there will be a big problem at that time i chose not to continue the conversation as i was deeply disturbed and figured that right words will not come out of my mouth. ours is a partnership firm he is a very important employee and i doubt if any action will be taken against him. my question to you people is should i report him to the directors? or should i handle this on my own? thanks kavita
We employees went on strike and were fired with a whatsapp message - any recourse?
I m currently working as a store assistant in manufacturing company from last 2 years. this year company is not giving salary hike and i also didn t get from last 1.5 year. and now we are about 25 to 30 employees start strike for salary hike and he fired all thru only send a whatsapp msg. what can we do against him.??
Hr removed him from his company's whatsapp group
One of my friend is facing a big problem suddenly one day his hr removed him from his company s whatsapp group. next day when he asked about that he was told that he will get mail. his salary is on hold for the month of may and his expenses also on hold for april and may month. hr and seniors completely ignoring him. kindly suggest some solution.
Employee chatting on whatsapp - is it okay to monitor?
Dear all i see that one employee is always with her mobile chit chating in whatsapp is it good to monitor them or shall i leave it like that. because i feel that more on work her concentration is on her mobile more. but she does work too. i have informed earlier to my hr head he given me the permission to warn her from my end i even told her politely even then not listening to it. kindly advice me as an hr can i call her and talk to her or should i ignore it or should i inform to her team leader. her role is a junior software developer she joined recently 6 months back. thanks & regards vidhya hr
