My annual package is 4 per annum but my salary after all deductions comes up 29k !
Hi am bit novice in these accounts. anyhow i just got appraised & pkg is 4 p.a. but my monthly salary after all deductions comes up to only 29k . is this ok ? here are my deductions my gross monthlyas per offer letter is 31448 after deductions of yearly employee contribution pf 13925 medical allowance 8703 after that again monthly deductions epf 12 780 professional tax 183 income tax 1500in 9 installments startin dis month to end in march so is dis ok ?? please let me know your valuable thoughts on this. i thought if i get a pkg of 4 p.a my sal will around 31 atleast but it seems almost 4k is going in deductions for tax & other stuffs. also any way to save this ? please let me know if you need more information. thanks gobind.

Dear all i want to know about salary slip. is leave without pay treated as a deduction from the salary? and i am aware of different slabs of profession tax but want to know that how to calculate profession tax i. e. on the total salary of employee in that month or on total earnings minus total deductions? waiting for reply. thank you pinky
