Usually tbe power to collect Professional Tax vest with Local Self Goverment institutions ( Panchayath,Muncipal Coprporation Etc).For Each state there are seperate Acts and Rules to geovern these institions.Acciording to Kerala Panchayath Raj Act Sec 205 F and the rules there under, Bonus also has to be taken for computing the Professional Tax.I find no other reason to include a cluase contraty to this in the Act applicable to your area.Hope this will clarify the doubt
