How would you relate yourself to a cartoon character / celebrity / animal??
Hello members how often have we felt that we have similar characters of that of an animal / celebrity / cartoon character? i have sometimes laughed at the way someone / something reacts the way i would or act here is something i d compare a few of my qualities too: animal : dolphin they love moving around happily and easily get along with others... this is a part of what i am but sometimes find it difficult to move out of my comfort space too : cartoon: tweety my image says it i know how to have a puppy face and get things done ; celebrity: monica in friends serial: its good that she is concerned about things being organized...but sometimes too much of organization and i miss the "important ones" i can get psyched out easily if i dont see things in place. sometimes others feel i am obsessed with these silly things ..but i love the way i am also a little bit of phoebe i love singing. but people around just appear to be making me feel happy. deep in their heart i know what they are saying stop it inow i was motivated to start this after reading about prof : dumbledore :d/i so members how would you relate yourself? i would also love crtics to post their comments on how they actually see others if thats fine with all of you

Dear all the company registered under shop and establishment wishes to keep woman employees in night shift. to get an exemption or approval from authority who is the authority to release the same?. please help me with your input to approach the appropriate authority. andy

Clarification required regarding control of authority of gratuity
our company xxx have his head office mumbai started in the 1960s. it started making molasses based chemicals at maharastra and it was closed in the 1990s. xxx started another company for different products at madras in 1972. in the 1990s it added some other products same complex. in 2002 the name of the company was changed as yyy. so 2002 onwards xxx have their corporate office at mumbai and the manufacturing facility at chennai. this manufacturing has been closed by dec12 and it obtained the permission from tn labour ministry to close the company and agreed to settle the employees by paying compensation after selling the land we 84 officers are approaching control of authority labour commissioner office. chennai. 1we are not clear whether we should approach the control authority of state or central government since head office is at mumbai and factory was at chennai. the company has got no other business unit. 2also we the officers management category were eligible for 30 days of gratuity per year of service as per appointment promotion letters and even by the letter given by the chairman after closing the company. can the gratuity control authority get us 30 days gratuity or only 15 days gratuity as per act? can anyone clarify the above two points?

Resignation by employee during probation period?
Hi i am pasting below the probation clause of my company. plz read through it and asnwer my question question: can i resign from my company in probation period on a days notice period without loosing my salary for the number of days workedlike the company can terminate me on a days notice period which is explicitly mentioned in probation period clause pasted below? probation period clause of company probation period: i. you shall be on probation for a period of one hundred and eighty 180 days from the effective start date of your employment with company. company may in its sole discretion at any time extend this period of probation for an additional specified period upon notice to you. ii. unless otherwise communicated to you by company the probation period shall expire one hundred and eighty 180 days after your effective start date unless the probation period is extended for an additional specified period by the reviewing authority in which case the probation period shall extend as specified by the reviewing authority. iii. notwithstanding anything contained herein during your probation period company may terminate your employment in a days notice and with or without stating any reason whatsoever. last clause says company can terminate me on a days notice period similarly can i leave the comapny on a days period althg it is not mentioned. what are indian govt laws on probation. can anyone plz advise on this precarious situation. thanks rasinha.
