Dear Friend,

Firstly,I would like to say that by sharing the Job Portal - Monster login id and password to your ex female friend you have done a Grave mistake. You are at receiving end and Mercy to save your future career.

Asking you to rejoin again is like a god's gift for you inspite of you being a culprit in their eyes.

Instead of resigning in this worst situation, I would advice you that you resume work with them and try to make your 'Good' image in their minds. You will also get your salary and Experience certificate.

Remember, you are caught in a worst situation. Hence you will have to clean up your image ,build confidence by staying away from such things. You can work hard and get good amount of business for your company which will help in patching your image.

You should learn a LESSON OF YOUR LIFE from this incident. When it comes to Career you should always protect the interest of your company and restrain from such unlawful activities which can harm your career and job. Remember it is matter of your Bread and Butter.

So helping friends and relatives, where there can be a risk to your career should be cleverky avoided.

If at all you intend to change your job you can do it but let some time go. Else there are great changes that if you resign at this stage then your current employer might create problems for you in the form of Negative Background /Employment verification and Employment Certificate.

Try to be polite, supportive as far as possible and build confidence in the minds of your current employer and clean up your mage.

Do write to me for any further doubts /queries.

Regards,

Sumeet

Hello,
Can you pl elaborate WHY you don't wish to continue even when you got the 70% hike again?
Also, did you checkout WHY they reoffered to you again? There COULD be BOTH positive & negative causes--so unless you are absolutely sure, suggest THINK THRU YOUR HEAD, rather than thru your heart in such situations.
MAYBE, they realized you are not @ fault & since they already know your worth [having given the 70 % hike], not giving the Salary & Exp Letter COULD be their way of ensuring they don't loose you? If indeed this is the case, pl note that you are on a MUCH STRONGER wicket NOW than earlier & should be able to make your mark--designation-wise & future-wise--sooner than later.
Like Sumeet suggested, you learnt your lesson. Rejoining & leaving sometime later, when your are on a stronger wicket, would be the better option--UNLESS you have some very strong reservations against it [if you don't wish to reveal it/them, then the members in this Forum wouldn't be able to give you well-considered/well-informed suggestions].
All the Best.
Rgds,
TS
