I represent Strategic resourcing division of Wipro Infotech (www.wipro.co.in) Wipro Infotech, is the IT Services, Solutions & Products division of the Rs. 34,926 million (USD 715 Million) Wipro Limited.

We have openings for the position of Compensation & Benefits Manager at Bangalore, a critical role aimed at devising the opportunities in Wipro.
The Primary Objectives of the job include:
Develop, recommend and implement Compensation & Benefits (C&B) policies, programs and activities for all Wipro InfoTech geographies to ensure the achievement of business requirements of attracting, motivating and retaining organizational talent.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, review and make recommendation for specific C&B programs and policies by research.
2. Develop manpower budget for the FY through effective implementation of the Manpower Budgeting exercise; Ensure utilization and control of the budgets for the FY
3. Develop effective approaches on Annual increments, Sales incentives and Deferred Compensation. Implement and Ensure logical closure of same with accuracy and within budgets
4. Introduce need based policies; Review existing policies on periodic basis and implement changes; participate in Internal & External benefits surveys
5. Improve communicati! on of po lic! ies and benefits through Benefits campaigns; Policy clarification sessions for the HR and Resourcing team; Timely response to queries on policies and benefits
6. Active interaction with Resourcing team for taking inputs on market trends and equip them with recruitment guidelines.
7. Manage Rewards and Recognition Policy and Cycles
8. Review, analysis and benchmarking on Policies and Benefits, in consultation with the Corporate C&B team, relating to Service Conditions, Compensation, Incentive policies, Variable compensation and Deferred Compensation programs. Participate in regular compensation surveys and one on one data sharing.
9. Ensure effective and periodic analytics and MIS support on periodic and need basis. Ensure automation of all critical C&B requirements

Competencies:

1. Full time MBA(preferably from a Premier institute) with 4 to 8years of experience.

2. A strategic bent of mind and ability to understand business needs and conceptualize initiatives linked to that

3. Creative thinking

4. Good Analytical skills as the work involve benchmarking and analysis.

5. Good Communication skills for presenting analyses, articulating presentations, reports and policy. Good persuasion skills for implementation and closures

6. Process orientation and ability to work on details with high level of accuracy

7. Good people skills as the role involve a lot of people interaction and coordination.

The role also demands high self drive, enthusiasm, networking and good understanding of business environment and employment market.
