Is there any law for giving yearly increment
My organization is having driver s who joined the organization at the beginning of business as per yearly increment their salary is approx 40k in hand now a days now management don t want to increase their salary any more is there any law in india accourding to which we have to give yearly increment to them or we can cap there salary now.
Complicated hr question - if employees stop work and demand increase in salary
Someone asked me in an interview that being a hr payroll officer you have 50 employees in your company who have stopped their work. they are demanding salary increase then they will start their work. they are not listening anything. they have only final demand to increase in your salary. so what would be your action being a hr payroll officer.... i replied to interviewer but my answer was not satisfactory. kindly answer this such complicated question. advance thanks to all

Hello colleagues. i understand my query may look a little out of place given the current employment market situation but nevertheless this will be something we all will need to begin researching soon if like me we havent done so yet :icon1: we are in the midst of planning/ budgetting for salary increase 2010 i.e. performance cycle 2009 with salary increase effective april 2010. i am aware that hewitt s salary increase survey and other such reports will be published post august '09. is there any other source i can use other then commissioning a survey to find out indicative inflation rates and salary increase 2009 2010 ? thanks in advance for your help

Dear experts one mnc sw it company engaged us a direct contract employees from mar 2005with a renewal of six months. in aug 2007 they suddenly asked us to sign with a manpower company with same salary due to internal audit objection. so we are working under with new manpower company and deputed to same working place of job with previous company and same salary. till now salary increase for us. if we asked that manpower company and they says that you are flexi staff by hirers and salary increase to be given the company which we are working. also they says that we are under their roll only and eligible for increase in salary. what we have to do to get our salary increase which is pending from aug 2007. any one help us to get our salary increase as usual to compare other employees. thanks & regards kaygee chennai

We are registered with epfo bangalore karnataka for the past 15 years. coverage includes all our branch employees in mumbai ahmedabad & delhi.we are closing down our office at bangalore. hence: whether we have to register with epfo in mumbai ahmedabad and delhi and apply for transfer of a/cs to respective branches? notes: 1 no. of staff in all these 3 branches are less than 20. 2 all our employees salaries are more than the cap wages of rs. 6500/ per month. please suggest best possible solution for our query.
