Im working as a admin executive and doing my mba in distance in 3rd sem we have to do internship in any company my doubt is i can do internship in my company itself but one of my colleague said its a construction company if i did my internship in construction company i will get offers in construction side only if i do internship in software company i will get job offers in software companies please conform me about this in industry i have to do internship.

That's probably the scenario, which Industry you choose first may be the First Job or Internship.. It likely happens to get further opportunities into same field, considering the experience and betterment of Organization.,
If you have already decided your career in any particular Industry try to get an internship into the same, don't bother for small / mid level just get it which would definitely help you for future opportunities.. Practical knowledge always counts a lot..
