I need to ask is the notice period required after the service agreement gets over? It was written in my appointment letter that your service agreement is upto 2.5.14 and after that you need to give three calendar month's notice?
If once the agreement gets over how can notice period still remain?
Please guide?

What I think is that once I have completed the tenure mentioned in appointment letter which was till 2.5.2014 the terms and conditions are also get over then why notice period is still required?
Secondly the service agreement is not renewed after the said date?
Can you tell me the clause where it is written that after such condition as I mentioned notice period is required?

When the service agreement gets over, the employer-employee relationship comes to an end. The notice period is valid only till such time as there exists employer-employee relationship. Once the contract of service comes to an end, there is no question of giving any notice period.

PSMOHOLKAR is right, once the agreement is expired and is not renewed further on or before the expiry of the existing agreement, there is no need of giving notice period after expiry of the agreement.
