But i am thinking to develop the existing employee to be leaders.

Hi Devansh

I am not an experienced one...but i can still give some advices...

As you said that you want to develop existing sales manager into leaders through training.. it's is a nice idea, provided you have time and money for training.

But, before we go to training, we will have to assess employee potential,
do the employees have the prerequisite qualities to be developed into a leader? This can be done through 1. performance appraisals 2. Assessment Centres 3. HRMS...If the organization maintains a skills inventory....

The high-potential employees can then be developed through training....

- It will also help in motivating the employees
- You will have an accurate information about the employees past performance.
- You will be able to develop committed employees.

I hope you that you find it useful.

Regards

Richa
