Re: Employment My dear friend,
I respect your decision to look for a better career in the Field of HR but trust me UAE is no longer a bright option now. The exchange rate of dirams is falling massively. Additionally its very hard to get a right job these days. I am telling you my personal experience. People regret after coming to UAE saying that they were better off in India with a comfortable lifestyle and family to support. The salary packages in India has shot up massively due to the development in the Indian Economy and the IT boom. In fact many of my friends have left UAE and returned home and are a million times happier. The rents here are exhorbitant. Most of the salaries are spent in the rent and the other half is on expenses. The total take home? nothing. Adding to our NRI woes are the weak exchange rate of Dirams against our Indian Rupee. Once upon a time it was 1AED = 13 INR now its 1AED=10.71 INR approx. If you are lucky to get a good job then ur blessed. Here everything depends upon situation that is unpredicatable. If you come here on a visit visa of 2 months (extendable upto 3 months) u have to do a quick search for a good job, which is very difficult to get since u need to have good contacts to prove your potential. In other words its a challenge. In UAE, you cannot change your job so easily. Once u sign a labour contract you r bound under the company's rules for 3 years. only after completing ur contract you can change after 3 years. If you terminate your contract you have a 6 months ban to come to UAE.
Please dont be frightened. I am just advising you. Now the decision is yours. If you still wish to see life in UAE and have a glorious picture about the country, i would be glad to forward you the contact details/websites of recruitment consultancies.
Wishing you success in all your endeavors. |
