The State Government has further increased the minimum rates of wages for differrent categories of employees in respect of several Scheduled employments on PROVISIONAL BASIS, since the matter of shifting Consumer price index Numbers from exisitng CPI index of (1987-100) to (2001-100) series is under consideration. The said increase is only on PROVISIONAL BASIS.
Thus, the State Government has enhanced the minimum rates of wages w.e.f. 01.03.2014
The increase in wages for monthly rated employee is Rs. 200.00 & for daily rated is Rs. 7.70 & for hourly worker is Rs. 0.96.
The detail of ENHANCED minimum rates of wages for monthly rated and daily rated and hourly rated employees under different categories is given in the attachment.
