Sir,
PF department imposed Rs 74131/- as damage (14B) and Rs 107408/- as Interest (7Q) for late deposit of PF Contribution and given date for hearing. Can we get exemption to deposit the damage. Kindly provide related document.

Dear sir,
You have said that Damages and Interest have been levied and date of hearing given.
In my opinion, there is no provision to give date of hearing after levy of Damages and interst except in certain conditions.
Pl. check up ,it must be a Notice under section 14-B containing the probable damages to be levied as per records of PF Office beside interest on all such belated deposition of PF contributions.

Respected Team,
Along with 14B & 7Q summons notice they send Annexure files too in those Annexures your can find the details of late payment and all. it means you have to check that report if any doubts raises you can contact them if not you have to pay that 14B & 7Q amount & then your have to go to the meeting along with paid Challan of 14B & 7Q. even though the given meeting date passed then also you or your Representative have to go to the PF concern person & you have to get Acnolgement stamp form EPFO on paid challan of 14B & 7Q.
IF you failed to Attend summons notice hearing of 14B & 7Q on the said date, then with in a week or two you'll receive another Inquiry notice letter from EPFO with another date.
so better to check the Annexures if u have any doubts raise it or else pay the 14B & 7Q Amount & get acknowledgement form PF office on the paid challan.
