What is the cognizant background check process.
Will they do background check before joining. What is the third party company that do background checks by cognizant.
I worked for a small company and the employees count is 50. I am not sure whether the company is registered one or not in India.
I am worried will this become a problem.
Any help will be highly appreciated..........

Yes, there would a pre-joinng background verification . However, if your firm was not registered ,thats none of your fault.
Speak to your Hiring Manager at CTS and give them the contacts to your reporting leaders in that firm.
Give enough evidence of you working in there and establish your experience as early as possible.
That should be enough .

i got selected in Cognizant.
Regarding my Past Company:
I worked in four company in my career out that my first two company are closed now and those company are not private LTD a very small company.
I have reveling and experience letter with me of this two company no other document.
I have provided some contact of HR who was active Hr at that time of both the company.
Could you please let me know if Cognizant will have any problem?
Because that company was closed that was not my fault.
