Good day, i just want to ask help about my case. Im still working in a certain company now and i was just informed by my manager that shell end my my contract this month, we had this meeting last mar 25 and she said its my one month notice verbally without any paper from her. In that meeting she said theyll compensate me for everything, she gave me three months to look for another sponsor and if not, theyll just give me a final exit. I started working with them sept 2002 and she told me apri 2014will be my end of contract. i didnt ask for any reason why. i just said ok. My question is what are the benefits that i supposed to have beforebi leave the company. I have a basic salary of 1400 plus 500 food allowance. How shouldvi compute it to get the end of serbice gratuity. pls help.

I think you are employed in KSA. Refer Saudi labour rules for claiming gratuity. I think 15 days pay for every completed year in KSA if you have completed 2 yrs service. check. Pon

Dear sir,
Reading your case, indicates that you are working in Middle East countries, or KSA maybe, to be exact. It can be categorized as termination action. According to Saudi Labor Law Part V Chapter Four "End-of-Service Award" you are entitled for a half-month wage for each of the first five years
and a one-month wage for each of the following years. You are joining on September 2002 until April 2014, so your working period is around 11 years 6 months and will be counted as only 11 years.
Basic Salary : SAR 1400
Year 1-5 : 50% eligible
Year 6-11 : 100 % eligible
Calculation :
Year 1-5 : 50 % x 1.400 x 5 = 3.500
Year 6-11 : 100 % x 1.400 x 6 = 8.400
Total end of service : 11.900
Hope it helps you.
Regards,
Baim
