Salary hike in 2010
Dear all i am in urgent need of some figures related to salary hike this year as we are going through that phase. i want to know the salary hike percentage in infrastrucureengineeringc onstruction & strategic consulting sector for this year. if any one of you are associated with any such firm and have done salary increments this year kindly provide me the age of salary hike because i do not want to go with the survey data which claims only 10.9 maximum hike or so and want give real picture to my management so they will be fair with the employees in terms of increment this year. hope i iwll get the response and kind cooperation from my seniors and friends of citehr. thanks
Salary-break up-please suggest
Hi i m working in a mnc gurgaon. recently i got an offer ltr from a mnc kolkata. i m getting 6.63l and they are offering 8.25l which is 25 hike on ctc but as per their salary break up they are offering only 5.4 hike on take home and other hike has been shown in bonous sa gratuity etc. list1 now my basic is rs. 24885 and they are offering rs.19900. so is it wiseable to accept the salary with lesser basic then my present? is it possible to make a salary break up withour gratuity and mediclaim? so that i ll get more take home. what should be the break up of flexi pay rs.33000 to get more tax benifit and more take home? are bonous and sa taxable? what will be the pros and cons of accepting this offer? comparision of offer is attached please give your valuable suggestion at the earliest. with thanks & regards apekhya
Appraisal of hr - increment percentage is very less compared to developers
I have one doubt please i have seen that even though working as an hr professional when our appraisal period comes our increment percentage is very less compared to developers or other profiles in the organization. can anyone can suggest me on this are they doing correct or is that we can argue with the management on our hike as according to me even we are working hard and we are an asset to the organization then why our hike is very low compared to them. i am not asking for same hike as i too agree that bcos of them the company revenue is increased at least moderately what percentage we can negotiate for appraisal.

Hi i was promoted from agent to teamleader last year may month and was given a salary hike from 15k to 23k at that time. now i am asking for hike but they are saying that first hike was above 50. and i can t get any appraisal. is it correct.
