Dear Menon,
It is your time to wait. bcz your organization passed the withdrawing formalities in EPF. so just make enquiry using your claim ID in EPF in the official website of of EPF. otherwise approach your nearest office to know more.

Thank you Prakash. I've checked the website but wanted to know by when will the amount get transferred to my bank account. I've also transferred the PF amount of IBM Daksh where I was working previously with the PF account number PY/KRP/35802/18596. Till date I've not got a clear picture if the amount is been transferred to my Firstsource PF account number MH/BAN/0046430/138992.
Thanks and Regards

Dear Menon,
The legal timeline for EMPLOYER is 60 days from the date of leaving to submit your withdraw form to EPF office.
The EPF office can take minimum 1 month to issue claim id to the employee. After the dispatch of claim id they take 1 or 2 month to complete all the process of EPF settlement including transfer the amount to your account. So consider this timeline & calculate it by yourself based on your date of leave.
Thanks and Regards

Kavya, There is no such timeline to transfer the EPF account as legal. that is purely based on the old and new employer coordination. May i know which industry you are for. . .

I was previously working with IBM Daksh and later shifted my company to Firstsource. I had requested for the PF account transfer in 2012. But till date I don't have the clear information if the PF account of IBM is been transferred to Firstsource.

When I ask the HR team of IBM they inform me that they have not received any transfer request. But when I ask the HR team in Firstsource they inform that they have submitted the form.

Till date I am not sure when I receive the PF amount which I have requested to be withdrawn from Firstsource will I be getting the PF amount of IBM or only Firstsource.

My PF account number of IBM Daksh is :- PY/KRP/35802/18596 ( this account number is not been shown or recognized on the EPF website.)

My PF account number of Firstsource is :- MH/BAN/0046430/138992 ( this account shows that the request for the withdrawal is been received with the Claim ID : MHBAN130300038987.)

Please help or suggest what should I do to get the clear information in regards about my total PF amount.

Thank's and regards

Dear Kavya,
That is very simple: your Firstsource created a A/C no to your EPF contribution. There is no more account transfer from IBM (which is done by all the old employers). So you can get only the withdraw amount of paid as a contribution while working for Firstsource. So expect that some money.

Hello Prakash,
Is it possible for any company to directly request respective PF office to transfer the PF amount from the old PF account to the new PF account?

Hai Kavya,
It is Possible but on that time your company have to mention all the move to transfer your PF account from your old employer (ie, Request letter copy to the old employer). Then your company can directly approach the concern EPF office with legal.
Note to Mind: Kavya, All the move from your current employer is possible only if you have good relationship & nice contact with your HR department. .
Thanks & Regards
Prakash. .
