I think you are still continuing in the same Co. Your case is not an isolated but many pvt Cos. in India are delaying the disbursement of salary to employees on one pretext or another. If you are raising your voice, you will be noted and removed for the slightest cause. Request them or ask for some advance citing your financial difficulties. If you are no longer with that Co. and they are not settling your dues, you can approach the Labour Commissioner with written complaint.

Hi Neha,

if your company has not paid you for the month of December'2013 Salary, doesn't mean they denied to pay also it is not specifically for you but for all employee of the organization. There might be an Organizational financial problem/crises because of slowdown in market like stated by Mr Pon above, that causing you and other employee of your company. Also you must not forget that your company has not denied to pay infact assure you that the due salary amount will be credited soon.

Second, to the fact of your case, poll options provided by you, are seriously not acceptable to me.

If company don't pay salary

1) Do violence

This is really a dangerous and unethical step which not just can bother you financially, professionally and in many how to your employer but to your and other employee's career too. Therefore, the employee or any individual who thinks of taking this action is absolutely dangerous to the community and professional world I would say.

2) Take Legal Action

Legal action can be obtained and will be the right option but until you found the same kind of situation which forced you to do so and I don't think this is the time or right time to go with it. Also you are possibly fully aware of the financial situation of your employer and I believe you need to support your employer in this bad situation, though, it is really hard on individual account.

What would you do if you found your friends and relative and the people whom you trust most are not in your support or they left you alone in your hard time? Think about it.

3) Keep Waiting

Yes, you need to wait for some more time because the time flies and the things will never be the same.

4) Look for a new Job

I wont say that you need not to look for a change because if you are getting good job options, and thinks it will provide you more learning and growth chances, can go for it but there one more thing that you and every individual who thinks of the same, need to care for is "Your Present Work (Period of) Experience /Career path ".

For example: one who have less than 3 years of total work experience and have two changes in employment, need not to look for another change just because of this kind of (your present) situation which is not too bad and can be acceptable.

In our life, not specifically to professional life but personal life LEARNING, GROWTH, DEVELOPMENTS are also important and we always need to remember them at every stage/situation of life.

Lastly, I would say if you finds any good option while working with them or waiting for the change in situation of your company, must not miss the chance. And until the situation demands to take appropriate steps to fight with your problem, must not think of it.

In last few words, do never use, think or try to take steps like "Violence"
