I have not come across any Act by name Paternity Act on the lines of the Maternity Benefit Act.. However I understand that there is provision for paternity leave in service rules of some companies for which you need to frame a policy.

I fully agree with Mr. Sai kumar and Mr. Pon there is no Paternity Act is in force in India, but as rightly said by Mr. Sai Kumar there is a provision of Paternity Leave is some of the companies, so refer the policy and if that require to be amended please consult the management and amend it accordingly.
