Pf query- can employee with salary above 15000 chose to be member of pf scheme or not
As we know that pf ceiling is basic of rs. 15000/ if some of the employees whose salary beyond rs. 15000/ i.e 16 or 17 k and some employee do not wants to become member of the pf scheme & some wants to become the member of the scheme can inspector raise the question why all the employees are not covered under pf scheme who are getting more then 15 k as we know that beyond 15 k employee can opt out of the scheme if they are not the members of pf or they have withdrawn the pf amount & they do not want to become the member of pf & giving declaration in form no 11 as i come to know that pf inspector raises the question at the time of inspecting a firm so you are requested pls clarify the same.
Persons who have withdrawn the pf are also excluded employees
Hello everyone i have read a lot about purpose of pf form no. 11 on google and on citehr which is as follow 1 if the new joinee was earlier a member of pf and if yes he should be given coverage even if his salary is more than rs 15000 2 if the new employee was not a member of pf in the past he can be excluded in the present company also provided his pf qualifying salary exceeds rs 15000. a person receiving pf pension or persons who have withdrawn the pf are also excluded employees. recently an pf inspector visited our office and asked us to provide coverage to the employees who was previously a member of pf on a basic scale of rs 15000. but some of our employees has already withdrawn their pf amount from their previous company. as i have read persons who have withdrawn the pf are also excluded employees now how i should proof this statement in front of pf inspector. members i need your help in this regard if any one can share any government petition on this will be a great help or share any other way to prove this statement. thanks & regards v s anju
