I have done my MBA in HR in August, 2013. I have tried for job related to HR but I am not getting a single. Whenever I go for an interview, they ask me about reference. I do not have references.
Please give me suggestions as to what I can do in such circumstances.

Hi,
Anywhere you apply they will seek for references. So, you can have minimum of 3 reference from you college (lecturer/professor) or from the place where you did your project/industrial training (anyone from HR Dept). At this point this more than enough and no HR going to ask for any big references. Reference are taken basically to get an third eye's view after your interview. For example, if that particular Recruiter have a wavering mind about you, they will seek for reference to get to know about you better. So, pls have one or two references before you go for any interview.

You can give reference of your family doctor, who knows you well, or your neighbor, who is working on some good designation, in corporate/banks, your school teacher, any of your friends, who are already on some good jobs, etc. It is not any kind of serious enquiry, if at all the employer feels t do so. Just he may phone up the Reference person, ask some basic details.

Hi. May I point out that the reason for not getting a job may be other than your inability to provide references. It's been more than a year, and I am sure you must have realised that references may not be the only reason.
I'd suggest that you seek clarity regarding the issue at hand. Getting a job and providing references are different issues; albeit interrelated. Hence deal with them accordingly. Hope this helps.

Hi,
As Adityaoak said, there may be more reasons that you are not getting a job. You may have not professional resume or you might not following interview etiquette or you are lacking in communicating others. Try to figure out the actual reason that why are not you getting job offer.

Dear Waghmaresd,
Resume is the most critical part of the interview, which enables you get the foot in the door Having observed your post (language, grammar and punctuation) i am assuming that your resume will need to be relooked at.
