Consultants on contract
I had a query in case you can help. are there any specific rules for leaves for employees/consultants on contract as to how many leaves can he/she be given during the contract period and my main query is can be or similar to employees on rolls in case of these contract employees when the contract is being renewed? my contract employees at project manager level are gnerally on a year long contract. please help.

Hi all i work for a large scale psu we have aroung 4000 contract employees engaged through contractors. further we also have an recognised employees union my query is on the following : whetherm the recognised union of employees can take up the cause and sign the agreement on behalf of contract labouerers who are primarily not the members of the recognised union. whether is above valid legally or any written legal document is available / or any practice. i was the knowledge hub to absolve me of my query. hr experts please participate and pour in your comments. with regards oganth murthy

As per my understanding if the principal employer is having 15 employees then pf is not applicable. if the principal employer who is having 15 on role employees appoints 25 contract employees as per contract labour act then ultimately pf is applicable to contract employees as strength is more than 20. my query: . in the above case does the pf applicable to company whose strength is only 15? your help in this regard will be highly appreciated. waiting for seniors guidance. regards vinayak .
Urgent : pf registration query
Hello seniors my query is my company is having 19 employees and 1 contract employee whose pf is being paid by contractor . so my queries are: 1. if we should include that contract employee while going for pf registration if yes then why as his pf already paid by employer. 2. if we should not include him then its voluntary for us to go for pf registration? because it was compulsory when we are 20 or more. please confirm if we should include contract employee or not? i am dropping any query on this site for the first time please help me. expecting valuable replies from seniors. best regards meenakshi kalra

Dear friends this is my first login on the post. my query is: i seek your advice with respect to overtime register. our company regd office in gurgaon provides canteen service to a company in rajasthan tapukara on contract basis where our employees are deputed. now the company wants us to maintain overtime register for the said employees out of whom one is contract labour for my company. now query is under which act should i maintain overtime register for those 4 employees? kindly guide regards meenakshi
