HI FRIENDS . M.B.A H.R NOT BAD WHEN YOU STUDYING AND WORKING ON IT VERY ENJOYABLE . BUT ONLY DRAW BACK IS WHEN YOU GETTING IN FIRST JOB VERY HARD TO GRAP JOB IN IT , ITES , MANUFACTURING, INDUSTRY. SO YOU NEED TO WORK FOR CONSULTANCY FOR ATLEAST TENURE OF 1 YEAR . IF U HAVE OPTION TO TAKE H R WITH MARKETING WILL BE SAFE . ALL THE BEST ......

MBA with HR as elective - give me guidance
dear,

HR is unviersal subject now and part of any course on this earth in recent times. its combination of many subjects like psycology, mathematics, chemistry, humanities etc.

u should go STEP BY STEP process now. for theoritical exposure, go to net and have some study materila on various topics ur text book gives.

for practical exposure

1. join some HR professional organisaiton. even it did not give u what u want, continue

2. go behind journals for case studies , which throws light on the pratctial problems and soultinos through which gives u an idea to tacckle. u can argue r discss the things regularly with ur folks wih this

3. be part of good persons with right thinking

i am a graduate in physics and i have been working since 2006 in BPO.
right now i am working with citi as a process officer in IT helpdesk and i have decided to do MBA as a 3 year parttime course.
my friends have suggested that i should choose HR as my comunication skills, personality and my presentation skills are very good.
could you provide me some help and give me an insight about t he various specialisation's in MBA and would HR be beeter for me looking at my profile ?
