The second link given by Sunayna gives quite clear picture of what HR is heading towards http://www.citehr.com//hr-jobs-of-th...re-vt2958.html
As you are working in Software company, I can give you some points you need to be extra strong in
1. Recruitment [with every new project, the strength has to employed within the stipulated time period, that needs very good recruitment skills]
2. Retention [You should be aware of the latest retention practices, as in software companies retention is considered to be one of the toughest jobs]
3. Salary Package Designing [The least discussed subject, but most important in case of recruitment, the candidate might refuse your offer if the salary has not been designed in a manner which he can easily relate to his current income]
Further to this, you need to design and update the Induction and training programmes... I have listed only few of the important points you need to be expert on to succeed in the field
As for the salary, I think that it is around 20% lower than the technical people [Software Developers] at junior levels but once you reach the middle management / senior management, the package is more or less similar.

Many many thanks for such guidance.I wanna further ask
1.What is the importance of HRIS expert of SAP,Oracle or other famous products.if someone has experiace of it and hold MBA (HR) ,so what he/she could be productive as compared to normal HR professional. From ur Salary point of view i hv learned that initialy an HR professional earns less as compared to S.E /S.d but once he get 2 or 3 year experiance then he will be at level as compare to them.
2.For an Hr professional which is the best suitable place for learning and wrk MNC,BPO ,Industry or Software house.
I shall feel great if u again guide me.Hope u wont mind.

| Hi Khaled
Though you might have a slight advantage over an MBA without SAP / Oracle knowledge if the company that you apply for is using any of this products, I think that the advantage won't be very high...
The reasons are that HR professional just needs to use the readymade packages, which is quite easy for an educated person to adapt within a short time... Second is that company is more interested in persons who would have strong knowledge and skills in their on functional areas, additional skills are just to differentiate persons but are not the basic selection criteria.
As for the second question, it would be unfair to say that one job is more challenging than other and that you might learn more from other jobs... and more so when you are trying to compare these three MNC / BPO and software..
I would suggest that you select in following order [this is for career development and not for learning as you will be learning a lot in all three types of industry]
1. MNC [if the company is big enough and salary / growth oppurtunities are clearly defined]
2. Software
3. BPO [In case it is a big MNC BPO, consider it as MNC at No.1]

2.Here in pakistan the pace of HR development is little slow as compared to your country, this is reason that i m still researching abt this field. How u see HRM as career in next 10 years and except HR manager is there any job designation for HR professional bcz here lots of compnaies hire only HR manager who conduct all matter.
3.U have not clarified about salary comparison of HR professional and software developer bcz i have passed BCS and now i m towards HR.

1.In Modern HRM there is a stretegic factor which is going to be important.so what is its implication.I am still confused abt this concept.
| 1. In brief, a strategic perspective of HRM requires simultaneous consideration of both external (business strategy) and internal (consistency) requirement leading to superior performance of the firm. This performance advantage is achieved by: - Marshalling resources that support the business strategy and implementing the chosen strategy, efficiently and effectively.
Utilizing the full potential of the human resources to the firm’s advantage.
Leveraging other resources such as physical assets and capital to complement and augment the human resources based advantage.
2. I don't know much about the economy and Hr development within Pakistan, as such may not be in a position to comment. But still the basics remain that as the importance of people within the company / industry increases [with people based companies] so will the importance of Human Resource Management. So you can be assured that the future of HR is going to be bright.. Further as you say that HR has still in initial developing stages in your country, I think that this is the right time to enter as it would give you that extra edge and you would be reaching the top level faster.
3. Salary of HR people in initial stages is around 20% lesser than the software developers, but in middle and senior management level the salry of the software developers and HR people is similar.. This is general observation within India and may not be true for all the companies..
