Dear Shanthi
What I understand from your query is; whether management should be partial to employees ?
As correctly observed by you, it is not a good policy for a good company.
Yes, it may involve some ego-clashes.
Warm regards.

Hi
As Mr. Raj Kumar advised it is not good sign for the organisation. But in many of the medium & large organisations these type of Corporate Politics are there. I hope you might not have much of industrial knowledge. As you gain more experience you will sense more of the politics in most of the organisations. You can see those mostly into Manufacturing industries.

Dear Friend

Being partial to employed later on effects productivity and dedication of all employs. This kind of work culture creates negative work environment which in longer run effects everyone. It is demotivating and reduces feeling of connection and ownership in employs. Intinaly you may find small success in terms of having control over some employs and situation like having more motivated employs (at least whome you are facilitating over others) but this will not last longer and situation bounces back. For long lasting effects in improving productivity, motivated and well algnied employees and getting good results batter employ managements strategy is must. That must provide equal treatmet and equal chances to grow and learn. Their must be postive compitation in employes for growth.

And being partial their is nothing absolute when you are dealing with humans. At each level piroties are different and manager may give more priority over other which may appear as being partial to others. As once my boss told me one very ablsute rule while dealing with human force:" Do not discriminate your jouniers but diferentiate.. "

Thanks
