Dear Shri Rakesh,
Five steps to an effective meeting posted by you is humorous,
thought provoking and hits the nail on the head.
Plenty of precious hours go wasted in ill prepared and poorly conducted meetings.
On top of it it is sad that issues remain unresolved.
All the observations made by you are very relevant in an Indian context.
Thanks for the post.

Mr. Rakesh,
First of all, I appreciate your effort.
This is professional website so do not use sms type keyword in this forum. ( like- Guys, regds )
In today's scenario, this is also one type of job portal. So many companies are doing survey on particular user/profile, they are seeing user's profile, post, forum etc.
So Uses of such keyword causes bad impact on your profile.
I hope you are getting what I want to convey !..

Fantastic presentation Rakesh. Apparently there are some companies in the west who do not have chairs in their conference rooms.
This inadvertently reduces the amount of time spent in meetings. :D A bold move but it helps improve productivity.

Hi Anand,
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, that is true, we do use the same in India in some of our workshops as well!
The concept is called Standup Meeting and there are some recent studies on actual improvement in productivity shown using the same! :-)

The presentation is really have the valid point to consider for an effective team meeting and what I would like to make it mandatory to attend to all the team members and should have enough gap like all the team members should be notified before one week or atleast a couple of days if not urgent matter ....also send them alert for the same on the it has to be.....if the topic is to lengthy then better if we break into small subjects and conduct a series of meeting in couple of days.
