how to calculate LTA AND MEDICAL REIMBURSSEMENT?
if problem is
calculate whoever is joined before 1st april 2012?
and date of joining of person is 24th november 2011?

MEDICAL=200

Your question is not clear... what exactly do u want to calculate.
Normally: LTA is 5% of Basic amount of salary and Medical is Rs. 1250/- per month (both amounts taxable if paid monthly as a salary component)

Thank you for the information. actually my question was the earlier problem in which i had told that i need to calculate LTA. and i need formula to calculate that. Thank you

Hi Mayur Shinde,
make the small correction, if they submit the bills for medical reimbursement (Rs. 1250/-) its non-taxable.
Regarding LTA, its deffer from organisation to organisation, some companies give 10% max. of basic
you can claim the LTA benefit only twice during the block of 4 years. For this purpose, following condition should be satisfied:
You should be on leave.
You should travel anywhere in India.
During such travel you may have your family with you.
Family means includes spouse, children as well as dependent parents, brothers and sisters
only travel bills only get the tax exemption.
