| | HR Executive - Campus Recruitment Drive Hi friends,
I'm a month old joinee in this concern as a HR Executive. Now as a part of recruitment, one fine morning they asked me to go to campuses to conduct recruitment.
As its a small organization they want me to go all alone and conduct the drive. I told them at least i should have a business card. Now that is also ready. They want me to go on.
Is it the right thing to walk into some campus and recruitment? How is it possible? Is there any procedure for us to approach colleges?
Kindly give me some inputs. Thank you. |

First you dont worry about he Campus Recruitment at all.Find out what type of Candidates you require for your industry.Then through the yellow pages find out the telephone numbers of the various colleges which you would like to conduct the Interview.For any college there would be a placement cell and Placement officers will always be there.Call up and ask to transfer your call to the placement officer.Say the reason why you have called up and from there you can start off.
Keep your company profile ready and try to get more inputs about your company as the placement officer will question you in this regard and you must answer in a nice manner.Fix up date and timings and then go to the respective college.
These are all the starting steps.Dont worry for anything and for any further help let me know.

The following points need to be kept in mind -
>Present your company nicely during your conversation and take appointment.
>Provide them with your company's profile, brochures and any other reading material or you may also suggest them to visit your website.
Make them aware of :
-----------------------
*The policy of your company.
*Expansion plan, if any.
*The requirement of your company for the campus.
*The career development opportunities in your organisation.
*Salary plus emoluments to be offered upon joining your company.
*Your HR Policy.
>Prepare questionaire (Technical / Aptitude) for campus.

Placement officer's will help you out as they do have targets in placing |
