Dear friends i am working for a software company in bangalore. my doubts are .. 1 do we have to take original relieving letter from new joinees? 2 do we have to take all his/her previous employment relieving letter or only we have to take only last employment relieving letter. request you to send me your views on this. thanks & regards anand

Relieving letter on hold due to outstanding with client
Hi i need an urgent help on my case. i was working as an assistant manager sales in a freight forwarding company and i onboarded a client which is a public limited company. we imported few machines for the client and our bill was about 22 lakhs client paid half and about 10.5 lakhs are still outstanding... he has approved all the bills and has not refused to pay but giving further dates for payment and not honoring them. in the meanwhile i have switched job as i got better opportunity. i thought client pay the money and i will be relieved. but client has not paid and my ex company although accepted my resignation and gave me a nice farewell they are not giving f & f and relieving letter. i need relieving letter as same is required in new company. while doing business with the client the contract was between my x company and client and i was just a sales. i never signed an agreement that said that my relieving will be on hold incase of outstanding s. what is the labor law can they hold my relieving or i can fight for it. as there is no fault of mine and i am being penalized just because i thought giving some business to company as a job responsibility. please help.
New employee without relieving letter
Hi everybody in our organization recently we recruited one employee and appointed in sales previously he told that he will produce relieving letter with in 10days like that but till now he didnt produced yet and telling that he cannot able to produce relieving letter. now my question is whether can i issue appointment letter or not? if yes is there any special clause to be added? kindly suggest me regards praveen
How to get relieving letter after absconding - as per company policy they will not provide a relieving letter
I made a huge mistake i was not interested to work i was not going to the office so the company marked me as absconding. then they sent the fnf certificate to me. now am asking them my relieving letter. they are telling as per company policy they will not provide a relieving letter. i got an offer letter from another company i have only 5 days time to join they are asking for a relieving letter. i really dont know know what to do. i feel so tensed that will i lose my offer letter. please reply.
