I have been working for a IT company in Bangalore from past 2 months. I am into sales & marketing. This is a very small company with 22 people but the owner and the CEO of the company is very abusive and a bully.
My appointment letter states that my probation period is 3 months and i will automatically get confirmed once this period is over, now during the probation period if the company wants to terminate my services they will do so by giving me 15 days notice, there is no option given to me and it says that this is a contract for 1 year.
I want to leave this company as the boss (CEO) is abusive and I don't like working here.
My question is if I resign and my boss does not accepts it or says that he will not give me relieving letter then what are my options. They have my relieving letter from my previous employer with them and without that I will be in a problem.
Please suggest option If I have any.
I understand the situation you are in. This is clearly not your first employer, but I presume you don't really have a considerable amount of work experience. There are many things you learn when you get associated with an organization - work related knowledge is one of them and the conduct/ behaviour of superiors and peers is another. I am sure you will be able to learn a lot on both these dimensions from this organization.
Is this a contractual job for one year? If yes, I would suggest you to stick to the organization and finish your contract period, obtain the necessary documents and then leave. Given from your query, your boss is not an easy person to live with but things would be real bad if you resign. Stay for the entire year; I am sure you will get something or the other to learn from - positive or negative.
