Dear Kaushik
Normally the last month payment will be paid alongwith the F&F Settlement, so that any debit can be adjusted in the settlement. This is the practice almost all the organisations are following.

Pay two months salary in bank account and last month’s salary in final settlement by cheque.

Factories act requires that on termination or resignation, the salary must be paid to the employee in 2 days from the last working day and the remaining amount within 30 days. So it may not be possible for you to wait till salary day. You should keep all other working etc ready so that you can pay on time
