Sir
[ Madam - depends on who conducted your interview and who are you mailing to. Many people write Sir/Madam on thank you mail - complete no-no since you've met the person, you are aware of the gender and do not generalize the mail. ]
This mail is in reference to the meeting we had on ______ for the discussion on the job role of __________ with your esteemed organization.
I am honored that I was able to meet you in person and the interview widely covered a lot about my profile and candidature. Though most of the things would have been cleared, I would be pleased to offer further insights to any related area when required.
Furthermore, I would like to thank you for sparing your precious time to be able to meet me. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the staff members who helped me with the process and thereby boosted my self confidence.
Best Regards,
XYZ
