Issued appointment letters has some mistakes - please advice
Dear all i have joined this new co. 2 months back & i have seen in our old appointment letters notice period clause while resignation is not mentioned means if employee wants to leave company he can leave without giving any notice. now i have changed the format but the problem is what action should take about those employees whom we have already issued appointment letters surprising thing is i have checked in database that most of the seniors & managers too have same old appointment letters. in such situation what should i do? pls advice me. regards bhavna.

Clause in appointment letter
Hi seniors i am working as an hr in a construction company. now we need to give appointment letters to our employees. can anyone pls suggest how to add a clause related to illness an employee suffers due to work pressure but the company is not liable for his illness. your kind suggestions are most welcome. regards rahul sharma

Are appointment letters compulsory?
Dear seniors is there any law pertaining to appointment letters/terms of employment? this hotel i work for has never given its employees an appointment letter. they have always given offers letters and thats it. none of the employees ever asked for their appointment letter either. i joined recently and since i joined the hr department i got the company to give me an appointment letter for my self with terms of employment and i make sure that new employees get it as well. but i need to know if giving appointment letters is compulsory or does it depend on the company if they want to give one? thanks anu
Existing employees - fine to issue new appointment letters with the current date?
Hi i have joined an organization wherein appointment letters are not issued for most of the existing employees. can you please suggest from the legal requirement perspective if it is fine to issue new appointment letters with the current date to regularize the process of issuing appointment letters to all existing employees.
