Default PF Transfer cases

Dear Friends,

in last 8 months 9 people have joined in my company. i have also joined around 3 months back. As we have outsourced the PF handling activity some of the PF transfer cases are pending for last 9 months.

The reason given by the consultant is that since the rate of interest wasn't fixed so the transfer cases were kept in abeyance and were not handled.
we had already submitted the papers 9 months back.with the rate of interest now declared the cases are being handled.

what is the real picture. i haven't handled this issue before. which documents we can ask consultants to produce to verify whether he has really submitted the papers.
your inputs are welcome

Regards

Rajesh

Mr. Rajesh

For transferring PF, you have to submit Form-13 to the concerned regional pf office and get the acknowledgement. Once you submit Form-13 they will take action within 60 to 90 days. If you want, you can go and check with your group Section Supervisor about the transfer.

Kanaka,

Thanks for reply. we have already given form 13 to the consultant who is handling our all PF related activities.

One of the employees has changed 3 companies but did not transfer PF from earlier companies. so we have to transfer all 3 accounts in our companies PF account.

The other person was working earlier in Andhra and now works in Mumbai. His case is also pending for 8 months.

In both these cases the reason given by consultant was that the rate of interest was to be decided by EPF board hence the all such cases were pending. Is it true? its becoming difficult to answer employees queries.

How much time do you think would it ake? what documents does PF office give to confirm that necessary process was done and the work would be done in so much time.

Regards

Rajesh
