Dear all in many organizations freshers are given an opportunity to undergo onthejob training for a certain duration which is subsequently increased. these interns are paid stipends and are paid in cash/cheque. my queries are a. what is the maximum duration upto which we can keep a person as a trainee? b. is there a salary bracket that has been mentioned in any of the labour laws/acts for such cases? please do share your experience/views on the above warm regards sandhya r.
Why the jobs are not given to freshers.....
Hello everyone i really wanted to make focus of companies recruiters on freshers that why they are not giving a chance to freshers. if they will not provide any opportunity to freshers than how could they be able to gain experience. might be they are losing any talented candidate which can help their company to give his best to grow. i myself is a fresher who had pursued mba with specialisation in hr and is really disappointed of the upcoming vacancies where companies are looking for experienced candidates but i want to say to just give a chance to prove themselves.

Pf contribution for "trainee"
Dear hr professionals / legal advisors are "trainee" covered under the provisions of pf act 1952. the basic question arises whether the trainee are recruited under apprenticeship act of 1961 or not. in my opinion a trainee appointed under apprenticeship act are exempted from pf contribution rest all are covered under the provisions of pf act. please advice regards prabhakar srivastava pune
