Dear Sumodh,
Whether it is the right choice is for you to decide. Only thing that I know is institutions other than universities cannot award their own MBAs. They can only award a diploma which may be considered as equivalent to an MBA. For example, please see what is the difference between PGDM & MBA ? - SiliconIndia

Before joining any Educational programme, just see whether the programme got affilaited to UGC & AICTE & also the placement record of last 3 years. Then you won't be regretted for your decission.
Hope you got the answer.

Dear Sumodh

Today everything is a business. Those who are into business find another commodity to do business is EDUCATION (also health). We are in a vicious circle. Businessmen invest for their return. You also think what will be you getting as return from the institute. If this course from this college is approved by AICTE or UGC, it would be a better return for you.

Today lots of institutes have mushroomed across offering lots of courses. Many of the colleges and courses do not have any approval. Many colleges are running their business highlighting a few approved courses in advts and offer many other unrecognised / unheard of courses.

Only Universities (which has approval from UGC or Indian Parliament) can offer MBA degree, pvt institutes will be offering PGDs. You may go through websites of this institute, find out their details, search whether this course is an autonomous one from their own institute or approved by AICTE.

Before doing anything try to study about it for a better result.

ISBM offers 2 certifications: 1) Executive MBA wherein the certification is done through Council of Distance learning and only for graduates with some work experience. 2) MBA with certification from Council of Distance learning with an acknowledgment from Mumbai University (This is would be charged extra)
In both the cases its certification holds value both in India and abroad.
