If this is what they have done, why are you hiding the name of the company (ok, you are adhering to citehr policy).
Let their image be tarnished.
What you should be doing?
Well!
1. you should be talking to an investigative journalist.
2. Have you spoken to the MD of the company. Call him and tell him about this. If possible, record the conversation. Once you have parted ways with the company, you are equal footing with the MD. Do not fear.
3. Mail MD and HR/ other key decision makers and ask the deducted notice pay. I am sure you are no longer interested in working in such a company.
