Dear sherinpereira
There are some points to focus before you go to design an HR System.
1. What is the org. structure?
you might have learned that in you mba. whether its geographically distributed, what is the way authority is delegated?
2. Also functioning of retail stores have to be kept in mind.
3. what are the future expansion plans etc.
4. what kind of skills reqd. etc.
I am sure that you have to first actually understand the business model you are working for....
if you get anything readymade i don't know how much it will be of use.
thx.

Hi,
Given below are the things which u have to look into..
1.Look into ur organization structure.
2.Preapre an Employee personal file as well as maintain MIS whr u hv to put all the details like thr offer ltr, appointment ltr, confirmation, promotion, thr joining details address proof, incrment letter etc in thr personal record and in MIs put thr employee code, name, address, father's name, dob, doj, date of retirement or retrenchment ..each and every details of ur employees
3..Now u have build up an idea....This is the time for making the job description of all of ur employees....
4..Maintain Time record and attendance record of ur employee..
5..Give the employee code to everyone.
6..If u dont have any policy& plans then work for policies like leave policy, tour & travel policy, incentives plans ,disciplinary policies etc....
1st work on all these...thr r lots to do in establishing an HR Dept..rest i'll let u know afterwards...
