I\'m working with an IT company for the last 1.5yrs. Now the company has increased my responsibilities and now I am looking after the whole operation. But I'm not getting a salary as per my work. The company gave me a little increment after completing one year. But Now I want a salary increment in Mid of year before the Yearly Appraisal. Please suggest formate to ask for salary increment in mid of the year.

Hello,
Out here I don't see much of an issue in drafting a letter for demanding salary hike but ideally the problem is with your demand at wrong time. Every company has a pattern of increments & so will your company have. Why do you desire before you deserve?? When you've got this opportunity to showcase your talent with higher responsibilities then you must do so & then demand hike.
Quite possible that you get increment in mid of the year but after next 6 months company might not consider you for full increments. And then working half heartedly will spoil your performance too. ATTITUDE speaks before your work. And if the company rejects your demand, it will understand that you would not stay with them for long & hence hire someone else immediately.
Act wisely. All the best.
