Why this Agenda and format?

The agenda has been designed looking at the changes in the HR scenario and expectations from stakeholders from the HR.

Recruitment is being given a major focus by dedicating the second half of the 1st day to it. As part of recruiting we will learn about Job Descriptions - How to create them, interviewing techniques, Referrals, Talent Acquisition, Resourcing ( since a major part of us work in US based companies). These are all activities related to bringing in Talent

The other focus areas are things like Expectation Management, Psychometric testing, Competency, Performance Management and above all Induction. These are all activities related to Managing and Retaining Talent.

The emphasis is on getting people to understand what they are, why they are so important and how to successfully work towards implementing them. That's the reason why we are plan a workshop rather than a seminar.

There is a trend in HR to be both popular and Effective. That’s difficult and in some cases impossible. The objective is to create an “effective and efficient HR" professional. The objective is to create an HR that is Effective hence Popular. Popularity would come from being effective.

Thank you for all the interest you have shown, I hope to see you at the workshop. If anyone of you would like to get in touch with me directly, please email me at
