Dear all i have read this article on citehr . i would like to share some of my experience regarding job hooping and reason for changing jobs. its not like that people always run for money . they look for brand name growth and stablilty as well. sometimes people change jobs because they are not geeting in life what they want to do in their career. they have to struggle for it . yes in india people recognise your social status by your company name . our social structure is like that only even aunty talks or ladies talks and for marriage also nor mally this question asked by elders how much ur daugthter is getting interms of salary and the son is getting vice versa. in southern india if you are an it professional so people my son will get married when he will get the job in infosys. this is a social stigma . in india 9 5 jobs is very respectable as britishers made for us long time back . flexi timimgs and work from home freelancing are new concept for us and it will take time for society to respect it . i remember when bpo industry came in india girls have struggled to work in night shifts and faced all kind of comments from neighbours and relatives. hope our society will become for more open and accept changes . regs gauri
